Sensory-Sensitive Storytime and Movie

The Massillon Public Library Children’s Department and Washington High School National Honor Society members will present a Sensory-Sensitive Storytime and Movie on Saturday, September 16, at 1:30 p.m. in the library’s auditorium. The movie begins at 2:00 p.m.

Sensory-sensitive and special needs children and their families are invited to an ocean-themed storytime followed by a sensory-friendly showing of Moana. Children are free to talk, sing, or move as needed during the movie, which features lower sounds and more lighting.

No registration is required and attendees are free to bring a nut-free snack of their own.

For more information, contact the Children's Department at 330-832-5037. The Massillon Public Library is located at 208 Lincoln Way E. The Second Street entrance is handicapped accessible.
