Family Christmas Program

The Children's Department of the Massillon Public Library invites you to attend the 23rd annual Family Christmas program.  Admission is free but registration is required and begins Monday, November 30.  Call 330-832-5037 to register for one of the following performances: Monday, December 7 at 6:30 pm or 7:45 pm; Tuesday, December 8 at 6:30 pm.   

Michelle Adams, Head of Children's Services, started the annual program in the 1980's with a puppet show.  The program has grown to a 45-minute-long variety show, including songs, skits, poems, and the family favorite:  a 15-to-20 minute puppet show.  A very special reunion performance is being planned, with former Children’s Programming Specialists Charla Paulus, Sue Chu and Janet Herrick joining Miss Adams, Mrs. Klein and Mrs. Warden. 

All ages are invited to enjoy the puppet show "Merry Christmas, Little Red Hen" and other Christmas favorites.  Join us for a warm and fuzzy evening full of holiday spirit and laughter. The Massillon Public Library is located at 208 Lincoln Way East.
