Fancy Nancy Parties

Bonjour! (That's French for "hello," as Fancy Nancy would say!) Come dressed in your finest outfit on Saturday, February 20, ready to hear about Fancy Nancy from the books by Jane O’Connor.

From 10:15 to 10:45 a.m., children ages 2 - 5 are invited to “Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy Story Time." Bring your favorite grown-up and meet the “Posh Puppy” herself, as portrayed by 11-year-old Marissa Common of the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet Storybook Series, along with 13-year-old Jessica Ganslein as a can-can dancer. Cookies will be served.

From 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, children in grades K-6 can enjoy the “Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy Tea Party." Be ready to transform yourself with some very fancy, glitzy craft items, just like Fancy Nancy. Bring your favorite grown-up, if desired. You'll be certain to say, "Ooh-la-la!" when you enter our elegant auditorium and taste our tantalizing tea and treats.

Both programs are free and open to the public. Registration is required, begins Monday, February 8, and may be done in person or by phone. For more information, stop by or call the Children's Department at (330)832-5037.
