Author Fair

Join us on Saturday, April 13, any time between 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a Local Author Fair!

This free event is an exciting opportunity for readers to explore new authors, talk with them, and peruse their books, which will be available for sale. It also provides a platform allowing local writers to showcase their work, connect with interested readers, and network with other area authors.

This year, the library is excited to feature local author and genealogist Kathryn Hardgrove Popio. Popio used the actual letters of her ancestors as the centerpiece of her book, Cross Keys, Carpet Bag and Pen. The book contains the straightforward accounts of how one of Stark County’s founding families, the Hardgroves, lived through the heartaches and hardships of the Civil War.

Additional authors include: Don Ake, Lindsay Bonilla, Liza Brown, Marcus Calvert, David Craddock, Faryl, Roger Gordon, Thomas Hardesty, S.T. Hoover, Amy & Hannah Kunkle, Cat Russell, and Harper Leigh Zipay. Their books will be on sale during the event.
