Each time you visit the library:

- Allow enough time to make the DROP-IN-AND-DO CRAFT.

- Try to GUESS HOW MANY items are in the jar.

- Ask about our next PROGRAM.

- Look at our BUG TRIVIA board.

- AND look around the library for Arnold the Ant! Where in the library will he appear next? Enter your answer each week as he moves to a different location WITHIN the library.

Activities

We have planned a summer chock-full of activities and events for you to enjoy.

Inside your Summer Reading Club book bag, you will find:

- Your own official READING RECORD to keep track of the amount of time you spend reading library books (or having books read to you, if you are READ-TO-ME age) from June 2 - July 12. Please put your name (first AND last) on the cover. EACH TIME YOU VISIT THE LIBRARY, BRING YOUR READING RECORD WITH YOU.

For every 2 hours you read (or 1 hour you are read to), you will receive 1 entry into a weekly prize drawing. For example, if you read 8 hours, you will receive 4 entries for the weekly drawing. Also, each week that you read 2 hours or more, you will receive 1 reward. (Rewards may include free items or coupons for free items donated by local businesses. LIMIT: 1 REWARD PER CHILD PER WEEK.) Beginning July 7, you will be eligible to receive a certificate of completion.
