The Children's Department of the Massillon Public Library is located on the lower level, accessible from the stairs leading out of the Adult Department and from the Second Street entrance. This department serves the study and leisure reading needs of children from birth through the fifth grade.

Highlights of the department include the Easy Corner, the Parent/Teacher Shelf, and public Internet terminals.
