Lizzie can't believe it when a boy she has a big crush on asks her to eat lunch with him! Not only that, but she gets to meet his mysterious new friend - the new kid who has just transferred to their school. But when Lizzy gets to lunch she finds out that the new kid is really her annoying little brother, Matt.
The rest of the story involves the class assignment called Marriage project and all that happens with that.
Eventually Lizzy learns not to take her friends for granted.
I liked this book and recommend it for girls and boys my age who watch Lizzie McGuire's TV show.
