    The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien

If you like adventure books, you've got to try this one! The Hobbit is the prologue to the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

In The Hobbit, you experience adventures of a people called hobbits. They don't cause trouble, they keep their holes very neat (they live in hills), and they don't care for adventures. One day a very special hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, is turned into a not-so-normal hobbit. He goes on an adventure.

As I'm sure you know, they have just come out with The Fellowship of the Ring movie. That is the first book in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

After I finished reading The Hobbit, I wanted to start reading The Fellowship of the Ring. I bet you will, too. I would suggest that you go to your local library and check out The Hobbit. It'll be worthwhile.
