On Wednesday, February 1, at 6:30 p.m., the monthly meeting of the Massillon Genealogical Society will host guest speaker Jean Troop, daughter of Anna Ruth Galbreath-Wyker, who lived to age 106.
Walking or horse and buggy were the only modes of transportation during Anna’s childhood. In her lifetime she witnessed transportation evolve from there to seeing a man land on the moon. Anna shared her life’s experiences with her daughter, Jean Troop, ensuring that generations to come would know her story. Her hobby, genealogy, revealed that she was in the direct lineage of the Emperor Charlemagne!
Please join us for this free program to be held at the Lillian Beane Center, 1711 – 16th Street SE, in Massillon. No registration is required.
