It Starts with a Seed

On Friday, June 21 at 10:30 a.m. the Children’s Department of the Massillon Public Library will present “It Starts with a Seed” with guest presenter and Master Gardner, Carol Rippel.  This program is part of the 2013 Summer Reading Program, “Dig Into Reading!”

Children in grades K to 6 are invited to come to the library and see what happens after a seed is planted underground, "eat" a plant, and plant a flower to take home so you can dig in your own yard. This free program will be held in the library’s auditorium and registration is required. For more information, contact the Children’s Department 330.832.5037 or visit the Summer Reading Club section of our website.

The Massillon Public Library is located at 208 Lincoln Way East. The Second Street entrance is handicap accessible.
