On Tuesday, August 6, at 6:30 p.m., the Massillon Public Library invites readers to join the Hot List Book Club as they discuss City of Bones, by Cassandra Clare.
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she never imagined she would witness a murder—much less one committed by three teenagers brandishing strange weapons with strange tattoos covering most of their bodies. To add to the bizarre happenings, the body vanishes into thin air. Clary doesn’t quite know how to explain the murder to the police because she is the only one who can see the murderers! Even more unexplainable is that there is no trace of the incident—not even a smear of blood—to show that a boy has died. This leaves Clary wondering if he was a boy at all...
The Hot List Book Club meets in the library Director’s office on the second floor, at 6:30 p.m. This free book club is open to the public. Registration is required. Readers are invited to pick up a copy of this book at the Reference Desk and join the discussion!
