"Fahrenheit 451" March Super Saturday Program

As part of the 2014 Big Read, the Children's Department presents "Fahrenheit 451" -  a very special Super Saturday program - on Saturday, March 15, at 11:00 am.  Kids and families are invited to learn about author Ray Bradbury and why his famous book is entitled Fahrenheit 451.

You’ll hear a short excerpt and discuss the “firemen” in the book.  Then you’ll have a chance to design your own “fireman’s” uniform and draw up “What Book Would You Save from Burning?” to be displayed in the library.  You’ll finish up by taste-testing some fiery foods.  All ages are welcome to participate.

Registration is required and begins on February 22. To register, contact the Massillon Public Library Children’s Department at 330-832-5037.
