Visions of Our Future

On Saturday, June 21, at 6:00 p.m., the Massillon Public Library will present “Visions of our Future: Utopia, Dystopia and Eucatastrophe,” featuring guest presenter and published author Dr. John Geib, teacher at Malone College for 18 years, dean of the Logos Institute, and author of Beyond Belief.

Dr. Geib will present the varied world views related to the end of the world, such as Christian, atheist, environmentalist, and a possible contagion (viral or bacterial) theory. He will discuss what certain disciplines believe the restructuring of the world will look like. He will also discuss a number of authors who write apocalyptic/dystopian literature.
