Autographed Book Raffle
On December 19, the Library will raffle a collection of popular books, posters and prints - all signed and donated by authors! This fundraiser was the brainchild of library employee, Mary Ann Potts. Seeing that many small, cost-cutting efforts were making an impact on the library’s budget, she asked herself what small thing she could do. She began by simply writing letters to some of her favorite authors whose books are frequently checked out by library patrons. The positive responses were instantaneous. In support of Mary Ann’s fundraiser, many of these authors generously signed one or more of their books and sent them to be raffled. Some of the authors sent a complete series of books, signed posters and even autographed bookmarks.
The items for the drawing are:

- two “Monk” paperback books signed by Lee Goldberg

- Doggie Day Care Murder signed by Lauren Berenson
- An Echo in the Bone signed by Diana Gabaldon
- two “Seaside Knitter” Mysteries signed by Sally Goldenbaum
- How to Take the Ex out of Ex-boyfriend and Fame, Glory and Other Things on My To Do List; plus one poster - all three items signed by Janette Rallison
- Fools Rush In and Love Finds You In Poetry, Texas signed by Janice Hanna Thompson
- Point Blank and Double Take signed by Catherine Coulter

Raffle items are currently in the display case in the Rotunda of the Massillon Public Library near the Adult Circulation desk. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or six for $5.00. The Massillon Public Library is located at 208 Lincoln Way East.
