Fall Story Time

The Massillon Public Library announces a new session of fall Story Times, beginning September 13. Registration for this four-week session is required and begins Tuesday, September 7. Visit the Children's Department or call 330.832.5037 to register.

PJ Story Time, for children ages 2-5 who do not yet attend kindergarten, will be on Monday evenings from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 – 7:30 p.m. Children may wear pajamas if they wish! Tots ‘N’ Toddlers Story Time, for children ages 2-3, will be on Wednesdays from 10:15 – 10:45 a.m. and 11:15 – 11:45 a.m.  Preschool Story Time, for children ages 4-5 who do not yet attend kindergarten, is offered on Thursday mornings from 11:15 – 11:45 a.m. Tyke Tales Story Time, for children ages 0-23 months, will be on Thursdays from 10:15 – 10:35 a.m.

All the story times will reflect the new early literacy initiative, Every Child Ready to Read, and will offer parents many fun and useful suggestions for helping their children gain the early skills that lead to reading. All children attending these free programs must be accompanied by an adult.
