Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. the Massillon Public Library will
present
Upward Bound, a
program designed to prepare high school students for success in high school and enrollment in college.
Upward Bound provides academic, counseling, social, and recreational activities designed to build
the academic skills, motivation, and self-confidence necessary for success in college. Funding
for Upward Bound is provided by the United States Department of Education, so Upward Bound
services are free of charge to many students, depending on their family income.
This program will be held in the library auditorium, is free and open to the public and
