On
Friday October 12 at 7:00 p.m. in the Massillon Public Library's auditorium, Brian
Fain of the
Massillon Ghost Hunters Society will
present a program on the local organization and its activities investigating the paranormal. Some of
the fascinating topics covered will be gravestone symbolism, the history of ghost hunting, how the
society got started and what they use during an investigation.
The mission of the Massillon Ghost Hunters Society is "to investigate and collect evidence that will
lead to a better understanding of ghosts, hauntings and paranormal activities and why they happen, so
that we may learn why spirits have remained here after their mortal passing." Using the latest theories
and methods, their team of fourteen active members investigates possible hauntings to either validate
or disprove such claims, hoping to open people's minds to a better understanding of the afterlife through
paranormal research.
A question-and-answer period will follow with light refreshments. This program is free and open to
the public and no registration is required.
