Summary:
Artemis Fowl, a member of a long standing crime family from Ireland, is a powerful force to be reckoned with. He is a mastermind . . . a genius . . . and only twelve years old!
Artemis devises a plan to regain some of family's vast fortune by kidnapping a LEPrecon member - a fairy by the name of the Holly Short.
This book tells of his evil ways and of the many creatures generically called fairies.
I would recommend this book!
Why?
This book kept me glued to the pages. I finished it within 2 days, it was so good! The writing style is easy to read, yet doesn't bore an adult.
This is an excellent example of YA Fantasy Literature. It could even give Harry Potter a run for his money!
