Summary:
Berger's realist style of writing creates a beautiful story of a romance that takes place in Greece and Italy. Heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, this book deals with present-day dilemmas (i.e. AIDS issues). It's a beautiful story.
I would recommend this book!
Why?
This book makes me cry because it is so beautiful in its simple rendering of human emotions and scenarios. I can read it again and again. It's like a work of art.
