Title: Say When: A Novel
Author: Elizabeth Berg
type of book: Fiction
call number: Fic
|
This book is strong in character.
Summary:
Griffin thought he had a happy life with his shy bookish wife Ellen and
daughter Zoe, until Ellen drops a bombshell. She's "never been happy" and is
having an affair with the instructor of her auto repair class. Griffin has to
decide when a relationship is worth saving, and when to let go.
I might recommend this book.
Why?
Not my favorite Berg book, but a guilty pleasure. Like people in real
life, neither party is totally innocent or totally guilty, and you can't tell
until the end if they're staying together or divorcing. Unfortunately, by that
point I didn't really care!
