Title: Shrink Rap
Author: Robert B. Parker
type of book: Detective
call number: Fic
|
This book is strong in character and story.
Summary:
Sunny Randall, the beautiful blonde Boston PI, goes on a road trip to
protect a bestselling author from a stalking ex-husband. He's a psychiatrist
with control issues of his own, and Sunny puts herself in harm's way to uncover
his secrets and remove him as a threat to her client.
I would recommend this book!
Why?
To this point I have adamantly refused reading Parker's series that don't
involve Spenser, the greatest literary detective, cook, and sensitive man EVER
created (not that I'm biased) but I have to admit . . . this is Parker at his best!
I haven't said that for the last few Spenser novels. I certainly intend to
read the other two Sunny Randall books.
