Title: Courting Trouble
Author: Lisa Scottoline
type of book: Mystery / Suspense
call number: Fic

This book is strong in character, story and setting.
Summary:
Anne Murphy is a beautiful, young associate at the law firm of Rosato
and Associates. Being fairly new at the law firm and Philadelphia and a bit of
loner, Murphy hasn't made any friends, though she has an acquaintance at the gym
where she works out.
At the urging of this acquaintance, she decides at the last minute to leave the
city and the noise of the Forth of July weekend, and go to the beach to work.
When she opens the newspaper the next morning, she is shocked to see that a
Philadelphia lawyer has been murdered - Her!
Can Murphy find who her killer is before she really gets murdered?
I would recommend this book!
Why?
Yet another example of superb writing from Lisa Scottoline! The author's
description of Philadelphia places the reader there. The story is intriguing,
and, as always, the characters are vivid. I would definitely recommend this book
- and any others by this author - to others.
