Title: Murder in Foggy Bottom
Author: Margaret Truman
type of book: Mystery
call number: Fic
|
This book is strong in character and story.
Summary:
A Canadian businessman is found dead outside Washington, D.C. and three
commuter planes are shot down over the United States. While the FBI, CIA and other government agencies are trying to find out who is responsible,
Max Pauling, a seasoned CIA operative and Joe Potamos, a veteran journalist,
discover the answers through a series of planned and accidental
events.
I might recommend this book.
Why?
This book was written in 2000 but seems so timely in its subject matter of
terrorism and coverup. The book jumps around and it is a little difficult to
keep all the characters straight.
Additional information about this book:
Margaret Truman is the daughter of former President Harry Truman and
most of her books are about intrigue amid the political backdrop of Washington,
D.C.
