Author: Al Franken
type of book: Political Satire

This book is strong in story and language.
Summary:
Veteran comedian, Harvard fellow, and liberal political commentator Al Franken takes a searing look at conservative Right-wing politics, pointing out (and documenting) their inaccuracies and showing how their rhetoric has been used to purposefully deceive the American public.
I would recommend this book!
Why?
Franken's unique combination of laugh-out-loud humor coupled with well researched facts make this both an enjoyable and an eye-opening read. This book is an excellent contribution to a political arena that increasingly discourages public discourse and the open examination of what is really going on in politics. Franken covers a lot of ground in 43 brief chapters, exposing important issues that every American citizen should be aware of, thinking about, and - most of all - discussing.
