Title: The Confessions of Max Tivoli
Author: Andrew Sean Greer
type of book: Psychological Fiction
call number: F/SF/GRE
|
This book is strong in character, story and language.
Summary:
When Max Tivoli is born, he looks as though he is in his late
seventies. Physically, Max Tivoli ages in reverse, thus creating many problems
for him throughout his life. The book is beautifully written primarily because
the language is poetic, and the main character has a vibrant personality.
I would recommend this book!
Why?
I would recommend this book because the themes presented are universal. Max
Tivoli believes that "everyone is the love of someone's life," and this becomes
the focal point of the novel.
