Summary:
These three books tell the story of Karal, a Karsite secretary, and his role in the mage storms. Many characters form the previous Valdemar books are also in this trilogy. Karse and Valdemar, long time enemies, have formed an alliance in this trilogy, which takes place after the war with Ankar.
Strange storms are putting everyone in danger. The weather, the land, and sometimes the animals are being adversely affected by the storms. It is up to a group of representatives from different countries (and therefore different beliefs, customs, methods of magic, etc.) to come together and save the world.
I would recommend these books!
Why?
As with most of Lackey's books that I have read, these are wonderfully written. They keep the reader very interested and are full of colorful, vivid descriptions. Very good!
