This book is strong in character and story.
Summary:
This book is the sequel to Undead and Unwed. Betsy is still in her first months of being undead and queen . . .and she is not coping too well. She's looking for work to pay
the bills, and finding parts of being undead -
like not being able to eat solids foods -
disappointing.
She is a funny, likeable airhead, as well as brave and noble, yet easily annoyed
with a quick temper, especially with the overly protective, very dark and sexy
Sinclair.
I might recommend this book.
Why?
This quickly read novel has Chick Lit emphasis with a rough, erotic outlook
on relationships and sex; there are no overly explicit descriptions of sexual
encounters -
they are more action based and brief. The plot is fast paced with a
slight mystery to solve and some unique laws about vampire life are
revealed.
After all, Betsy is still discovering one new law concealed in the
Book of the Dead on a daily basis.
Readers who like edgy Chick Lit and paranormal novels with lots of witty banter
and humor should read this book.
