This book is strong in
character, story and language.
Summary:
Starting not long after the first Bridget Jones book leaves off, this novel is again set in London and is the journal of "Singleton" Bridget Jones.
Bridget is now dating Mark Darcy, but not for long, as Rebecca, the friend who does not follow the rules of dating (i.e. not going after friend's man), a naked foreign boy, and other misunderstandings get in the way of their relationship. Her mum's latest adventure (going to Africa and bringing home an interesting souvenir), problems with work, and a friend's engagement further complicate matters. Perhaps a trip to Asia will help heal the wounds?
I would recommend this book!
Why?
Very well written and extremely humorous, Fielding does a wonderful job
with the sequel to the original Bridget Jones. It was a great book to read when
wanting to sit back and relax . . . and thank the gods life is normal!
