This book is strong in
character and story.
Summary:
Kate Reddy is a working mother of two children under the age of 6. She
must juggle her family and her job, which is made even more difficult by:
working in a London financial firm (where one must work 50+ hours a week to just
keep ones' job), traveling all over the world on a moments notice (see job),
trying to maintain the appearance of being a perfect mother to the nit-picking
stay at home "Muffia" and many more obstacles.
I would recommend this book!
Why?
This is a very humorous look at life as a mother with a fast paced,
extremely time consuming job outside the home. Kate's struggles to be a good
mother in the eyes of others and to hold her ground and hopefully gain some more
at work are vividly described.
