Summary:
This book deals with the interracial romantic relationship between Charlotte, a blonde model (typical "Barbie Doll") and an African-American skier turned actor, Milo.
Charlotte and Milo meet in college. Years later, they meet again as successful and high-profile people. They marry and have a child, Hallie.
The novel is written in first-person narrative, with Charlotte telling the story. Although it deals with the problems of an interracial relationship, infidelity and life in general, the book still seemed rather shallow.
I would NOT recommend this book.
Why not?
I couldn't really get into it. I actually had to force myself to finish it because I felt it was not well written. Also, it never answers the question posed at the beginning of the book.
