I would recommend this book!
Why?
This is one of the most powerful and moving books I've ever read.
Sebold is an immensely gifted writer. Even when dealing with the darkest of subject matter, such as in her debut novel, The Lovely Bones, she engages the reader with a smooth prose style that is often shockingly humorous and surprisingly uplifting.
NOTE: This book contains graphic descriptions of the assault.
