cover Title: Diary of a Mad Bride
Author: Laura Wolf

type of book: Humor

This book is strong in character and story.

Summary:
He asked for commitment. She'll end up committed . . .

Amy Thomas is a bridesmaid in her friend Mandy's upcoming wedding. She dodges phone calls as often as possible to avoid Mandy's tantrums over tulips ("an integral part of our floral concept") and other "little" wedding things, wondering what it is about weddings that turn women into fools. Happy that she and her boyfriend are just that, the unthinkable happens:

The woman who everyone thought wasn't the marrying kind (everyone being her friends and family) - gets engaged.

And it's all downhill from there!

I would recommend this book!

Why?
A hilarious view of planning ones wedding, this book is a true page turner.

There were many things I could relate to, having planned my own wedding last year, but many things were also a little far-fetched from reality. For the most part, I think that made the story even funnier.

This book is a light, quick read that any woman involved with a wedding will find well worth reading.

Other interesting information:
The author has another book: Diary of a Mad Mom-to-Be.
