Title: Dancing in My Nuddy-Pants: Even Further Confessions of Georgia Nicolson
Author: Louise Rennison
type of book: YA Fiction (humor)
call number: YA Fic
|
This book is strong in character, story and language.
Summary:
Georgia Nicolson is back with the fourth installment of her diary.
She is still the official girl-friend of a Sex God, but she experiences a
jealous streak when she hears about her friend Ellen and Dave the Laugh getting
along well (and their snogging adventures).
She is often a "pop-star widow," while the Sex God is off touring with his band,
but takes it all in stride as much as she can with her family of loons, a
school trip to le gay Paree, and the fact that Angus' sex kitten has delivered
several fur baby Jesuses - all looking like Angus (who had his trouser snake
addendums snipped . . . just not in time!)
I would recommend this book!
Why?
This is a hilarious installment in the life of the fictional Georgia
Nicolson, and a quick read. Her language is a bit confusing at times, but it is
fairly easy to figure out what she is talking about. I do wish that the
glossary in the back had a few more definitions added.
