What is Homebound Service?
Homebound service is the monthly pick-up and delivery of library materials to individuals in their homes.
Who is eligible?
Anyone who lives in the Massillon City School District or the villages of Navarre and Brewster and has a
need for the service can apply for Homebound delivery.
What can I have delivered?
Any item from our collection that is permitted to be checked out can be delivered in Homebound Service, including
books in regular or large print, books on tape, music, videos, DVDs and magazines.
Is there a charge for Homebound Service?
No, this is a free service of the library.
How do I sign up?
Call the Main location of the Massillon Public Library (330-832-9831 ext. 330), or use this form to apply for the service online.
You'll be contacted by the Outreach Librarian and asked a few questions about the kinds of things you would like to receive. A library card will be issued if you do not already have one. Later, the Outreach Librarian will bring your first delivery and ask you to sign a form to officially enroll you in the service.
