Title: All the Answers

This book is strong in character and story.
Summary:
Jason plays solitaire on the computer every morning and believes how much he
either wins or loses will dictate what kind of school day he will have. He is
also a fairly good basketball player and a wise guy, but is bad at Math (because he does not do his homework). He has trouble at school when the new rich kid arrives. The new kid makes fun of Jason and embarrasses him. Jason is also
having a relationship problem with his father, especially after his dad finds
out that he hasn't been completing homework assignments and is making outrageous
excuses to the teacher, all the while forging his parents' signatures on notes
with very creative scenarios, such as mom was vacuuming and sucked up his homework.
I would recommend this book!
Why?
I really enjoyed this book for two major reasons. First, it was very funny
and truly represented a wise cracking teenage boy. Second, the both loving and
straining relationship between a teenage boy and his father was wonderfully
displayed. This book will be very popular with middle school age readers,
especially with males. The crazy and creative excuses Jason has for not
completing Math homework assignments are awesome!
