Summary:
Georgia has the typical teen girl problems: she thinks she's not pretty enough, she thinks she needs a
boyfriend, she likes someone who barely notices her, she hates school, and thinks her
parents are losers. But Georgia's biggest problem is that she is too superficial and is always wise cracking. She has a great sense of humor, but she is often callous. She is a very good friend, however, especially to Jas. Georgia enlists the help of Jas
to get Robbie to dump geeky Lindsay and like her.
I would recommend this book!
Why?
This book is a very funny and real portrayal of teenage life. I couldn't
stop laughing, reading Georgia's thoughts about teachers, parents, and
Angus, her cat. The story holds nothing back. Readers will immediately
identify with Georgia, who could not be a more real person. When reading the
story, it feels like Georgia is sitting beside you, talking about her day. I
highly recommend this book to teens, especially girls.
