Title: Full Tilt
Author: Neal Shusterman
type of book: YA Fiction / Supernatural Horror
call number: YA/Fic
|
Summary:
Blake can't remember the full account of a tragic accident from his past when he was seven years old, where he was the only survivor. His whole life he has been perfect and good and always "saves" everyone, including his younger brother the daredevil.
In order to save Quinn this time, Blake and his best friends find themselves trapped in a supernatural amusement park controlled by Cassandra.
I would recommend this book!
Why?
Blake must confront all of his worst fears and the tragic incident from his past, which are manifested as amusement park rides -- rides where if you die or don't finish at least seven rides before dawn, you will be enslaved by the evil and cold Cassandra.
This book was fast paced and was hard to put down. I read it in one sitting because I needed to know how it would end.
