This book is strong in character and story.

Summary:
Jan has a crush on Nick, whose sister she baby-sits. She keeps doing everything "wrong" and Nick believes she dislikes him terribly.

I would recommend this book!

Why?
This is a good story of getting to know oneself and feeling comfortable in the world by finding your place in family, friendship groups, and dating. The book has humorous scenarios and is suspenseful until the end about whether or not Jan "gets her man."
