This book is strong in character, story, language and setting.

Summary:
Father and son Saotome went to China to train near ancient springs - but it is very dangerous because each spring has it owns tragic magic legend. Genma falls into "spring of drowned panda" made 2000 years ago and Ranma falls into "spring of drowned girl" made 1500 years ago. If they come into contact with cold water they turn into legend; hot or warmer water turns them back to normal.

Akane and Ramna are set as a couple and fiancée. Kuno is a boy at school who likes Akane and fights with Ranma for her hand, but he also falls in love with the "girl" Ranma.

Ryogi is an old school mate of Ranma who is a monster and wants to destroy Ranma.

I would recommend this series!

Why?
Ranma and Akane do nothing but get into arguments and slowly but surely begin to have real feelings for each other but are afraid to say anything.

This story is filled with action and humor. It is a fast read and is sure to please both male and female readers alike.
