Food For Fines

From November 15 – December 15, the Massillon Public Library, its branches and bookmobile will accept non-perishable food items and/or new school supplies in lieu of fines. This fine forgiveness is for all Massillon Public Library system overdue fines on your library record. Collection fees and charges for lost or damaged items are not covered through this drive.

The library asks each person to be guided by his conscience and size food donations somewhat in proportion to the fines owed. Items must be new, unexpired and in good condition only. All donations will be given to the Salvation Army in Massillon and the Fairless Food Cupboard for local distribution.

Food For Fines will be observed at the Main Library, the Barry Askren Memorial Branch in Navarre, the Pam S. Belloni Branch located at the Fairless Elementary School, and the Bookmobile.
