2021 Summer Reading Program: Imagine Your Story

It’s Summer Reading time at the Massillon Public Library and everyone is invited to participate! This year’s theme is “Imagine Your Story!” – featuring fairy tales, fantasy, and fun! MPL will have programming and activities for all ages – Adults, Teens, and Children! The Summer Reading Program runs from June 14 through July 31 at all MPL locations.

Summer Reading Programs encourage our community to read for education, enjoyment, and entertainment. Reading on their own is especially important for kids and teens, so that they will keep up their reading skills. Besides offering in-person contests, crafts, prizes and logging of reading, the library has also purchased a subscription to a virtual reading program for those who wish to participate from home. The virtual reading program engages patrons of all ages with targeted user experience and content and inspires participation with curated book recommendations, fun activities, literacy games, virtual badges, prizes, and more. Virtual events will be held via Zoom so that anyone can sign up to participate.
