Avoiding Elder Fraud and Scams

On Wednesday, May 12 at 6:00 p.m. join Massillon Public Library Director Sherie Brown for an informative and interactive online Zoom session concerning Elder Fraud and Scams.

Learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones from all kinds of dastardly schemes! Local advocates for seniors will share how to spot and avoid these common scams. Interact with a panel of local experts from law enforcement, the legal system, and Adult Protective Services.

This program is presented in partnership with Coleman Professional Services, the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office, and local law enforcement. Featured Guest Speakers are Jim Knight, Crime Prevention Specialist from the Stark County Prosecutor’s Office and Denise Hollenbach, I-Team Coordinator from Coleman Professional Services’ Adult Protective Services.

Registration is required and will close at 11:59 p.m. on May 10. A Zoom invitation will be emailed to registered participants in advance of the program.
