Book Clubs

Askren Branch Book Club
On the third Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m., the Askren Branch of MPL hosts a book club via Zoom and in-person in the new pavilion in front of the Askren building. The book club is free and open to the public. Those who wish to participate via Zoom are asked to call the Askren Branch at 330-879-2113 in advance of the live Zoom session to receive the Zoom login information. Those attending in-person are asked to bring a lawn chair. The book to be discussed at the September 21 meeting is The Book of Lost Friends by Lisa Wingate.

Amherst Meadows Book Club
On the third Wednesday of each month at 3:00 p.m., the MPL Outreach Department hosts the Amherst Meadows Book Club, which is held at Amherst Meadows Apartments (1602 1st Street NE, Massillon). The book club is free, open to the public, and observes social distancing. Those who wish to participate are asked to call the MPL Outreach Department in advance of the next meeting at 330-832-9831, x330 for registration and book club information.

Fourth Monday Book Club
On the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m., the MPL Adult Department hosts the Fourth Monday Book Club, which is free, open to the public, and observes social distancing. No registration is required. The book to be discussed at the September 27 in-person meeting is The Vanishing Half  by Brit Bennett. Bradley Place Book Club
