July Book Clubs

On the third Tuesday of each month, the Askren Branch of the Massillon Public Library hosts an online book club via Zoom at 9:00 a.m. Those who wish to participate are asked to call the Askren Branch at 330-879-2113 in advance of the live Zoom session to receive the Zoom login information. The book to be discussed at the July 20 live Zoom meeting is American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins.

At 3:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month, the MPL Outreach Department hosts the Amherst Meadows Book Club, which is held at Amherst Meadows Apartments (1602 1st Street NE, Massillon). The book club is free, open to the public, and observes social distancing. Those who wish to participate are asked to call the MPL Outreach Department at 330-832-9831, x330 for registration and book club information. The book to be discussed at the July 21 in-person meeting is Educated by Tara Westover.

At 10:00 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month, the MPL Outreach Department hosts the Bradley Place Book Club at Bradley Place Apartments (125 David Canary Dr. SW, Massillon). The book club is free, open to the public, and observes social distancing. Those who wish to participate are asked to call the MPL Outreach Department at 330-832-9831, x330 for registration and book club information. The book to be discussed at the July 28 in-person meeting is Broken Angels by Gemma Liviero.
