SUMMER READING FUN FOR ALL AGES

June 14 – July 31

It’s Summer Reading time at the Massillon Public Library and everyone is invited to participate! This year’s theme is “Imagine Your Story” – featuring fairy tales, fantasy, and fun! MPL will have programming and activities for all ages – Adults, Teens, and Children!


Children’s Summer Reading
(ages 0 – 6th Grade)
Children from birth through the 6th grade are invited to keep track of their summer reading, and participate in programs and activities. Those who meet weekly reading goals will earn rewards and entries into prize drawings.

Teen Summer Reading
(Grades 7-12)
Teens are encouraged to read and attend summer programs to earn entries in prize drawings. Registration forms are available in the Teen Area of the Main library, at the Askren and Belloni branches, on the bookmobile and online.

Adult Summer Reading
(age 18 and over)
Participants are challenged to read 5 books and complete 1 library related activity. Everyone who participates will receive an Adult Summer Reading Challenge sticky note book (one per person, while supplies last) and be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing.

Online Option
Your library is also offering a virtual reading program for those who wish to participate from home. The virtual reading program engages patrons of all ages with targeted user experience and content and inspires participation with curated book recommendations, fun activities, literacy games, virtual badges, prizes, and more!
