Physical Library Cards

It’s easy to get a library card! Adults must present a valid ID, and children under eighteen years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign the library card application. Library Staff will be happy to assist you with this procedure the next time you visit the Library.

There is no charge for your first library card and there is no charge to replace your library card.

Your library card is your ticket to a world of information. With it you may borrow books, magazines, music, videos, DVDs and books on CD from any department or branch of the Massillon Public Library system. One of the tenets of the Library’s Mission Statement is freedom of information. Therefore, the Library does not place any age restrictions on what can be borrowed with a library card. The Library encourages families to use the collection together and determine their own rules and guidelines for the information the family selects.

Your library card also provides access to a number of research databases and allows you to borrow ebooks, audio books, movies, music and more from our online digital collections.

For more information, please contact the library at 330-832-9831.
