All educators may get a Teacher Card from the Massillon Public Library. Parents and Guardians who homeschool are eligible to have a Teacher Card.
To apply for a Teacher Card, please fill out our Library Card Application.
In addition to the Library Card Application, you must bring in proof of being an educator. Teachers must show a school ID, and homeschool teachers must show notification from the Board of Education.
Teacher cards cannot be used to check out personal items. You must use a personal library card for personal items.
Checkout Periods:
- Items that belong to the Massillon Public Library are checked out for 6 weeks with 1 renewal.
- Items from SearchOhio or OhioLink are subject to the rules of the library which owns the material.
For educators of the Massillon City School District and the Fairless Local School District, delivery and pick-up of educator items can be requested. To arrange for book delivery, contact the Children’s Room Service Desk at 330-832-9831, ext. 317 or teacherresources@massillonlibrary.org.
Note: When returning your materials to the library, please DO NOT put collections of 15 or more items, Theme Kits or Books in A Box in the book drop.
