Chronicling America is a searchable database of U.S. newspapers with descriptive information and select digitization of historic pages. Supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities, this rich digital resource is developed and maintained at the Library of Congress.

FamilySearch is the largest genealogy organization in the world and is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. FamilySearch adds over 300 million free genealogical records and images online yearly from all over the world and manages the famous Family History Library in Salt Lake City. It has amassed billions of birth, marriage, death, census, land and court records from more than 130 countries to help you discover and make family connections. Access to FamilySearch Affiliate Library records is only available inside the Main library, on the library’s Wi-Fi. You may use your own device or a library computer to access the resource.
